Lockwood’s ‘Super slim’ umbrellas are a light-weight alternative to our Solid-Stick umbrella range. Constructed by our master umbrella makers in London, England.
The mechanism uses Lockwood’s reinforced steel ribs to ensure strong wind resistance. These ribs are designed to lie flatly against the 8mm steel tube for optimal slim furling. The canopy, made from ultra-lightweight cloth, is fitted to the frame by hand before the handle is affixed to the base of the tube. The tip of the tube is tapered and the umbrella is finished with brass cap.
LOCKWOOD UMBRELLAS are known the world over for their strength, durability and ______________highest quality craftsmanship.
Each umbrella is handmade at our manufactory in North London employing CENTURIES OLD TECHNIQUES, sourcing the finest cloth, ethically sourced buffalo horn and hardwoods from sustainable woodlands around the globe.
